ello friends! In this quick video tutorial, I am giving dollar tree ornaments a new coat.
With a low heat glue gun, I placed a dot near the center of the ornament and gave it a quick swipe across to the next dot. I repeated this all the way around.
I used toilet paper rolls to hold the ornament while drying and placed it in the fridge for a faster setting.
Once the glue dried I began to apply the first coat of acrylic paint.
I used my blow dryer to speed up the drying process.
Then I did a second coat of paint and repeated the drying process. Depending on the base of the color of your ornament, more than three coats of acrylic paint may be needed.
And that’s all friends. A good way to update plain ornaments.
