Simply choose a project and have fun with it.

I’ll be the first to admit that sometimes I don’t start a project because I overthink it. I begin to think of all the possibilities, all the impossibilities, and whether or not I will have enough time to complete it. Trust me, I’ve had projects that I started and never finished. I also have imagined my project one way and ended up with something completely different. Now I’m at the point where the outcome doesn’t matter as much. Besides, my projects can improve with time and practice. Plus, the experience far outweighs the final result. So remember to give yourself some slack. And unless you have a deadline to meet, you can carve some time out of your week to dedicate to your project. The point is to step out and create something. It may take a day, a week, a month, or a few months (a year probably only if you are building some type of structure.) Have fun creating!
