Christmas is truly a celebration of God’s love. He freely gave us the greatest gift we could ever hope for and not because we deserved it but because of his great love for us. When you read the bible, you begin to see that everything in it was given to us to help us. It is God’s living word that is useful in every area of our lives.

• All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right. God uses it to prepare and equip His people to do every good work. II Timothy 3:16-17

You also begin to recognize that God is for you and that He truly loves you and longs to spend time with you. You can say that the bible is a collection of love letters from our Creator, and to some of us from our Heavenly Father. Over the next 25 days leading up to Christmas, I will be sharing some of those love letters. May you experience God’s love and the salvation that His precious Son Jesus brings during the Christmas season and beyond.
